Despite modest expectations compared to the lofty promises of Copenhagen last year, mid-way through the meet, negotiations on issues of emissions control and climate financing have stalled.
While the Cancun talks are focused a large-scale initiatives to tackle global climate change, it is becoming clear that the simplest solutions to sustainable green living come from small, local options.
